Nevus Outreach

Nevus Outreach is dedicated to improving awareness and providing support for people affected by congenital pigmented nevi, and finding a cure.

Matt was born with a hairy congenital birthmark (a nevus) covering a good portion of his face. He underwent 5 surgeries at UCLA Medical Center as a child and experienced a lot of adversity. This experience has provided Matt with a platform to speak with the youth in our community about their personal trials in overcoming adversity. He is also on the Board of Directors for the global association, Nevus Outreach, Inc.
